Subject: Peeling Angophora bark
Location: Crow's Nest National Park, Qld Australia.

It was April, our autumn and the Angophora trees were shedding their summer coat. We had had a little bit of drizzle but the sun made a brief appearance as we passed a particularly stunning tree. This was my first visit to the park and it was all new territory. I had taken dozens of photos of Angophora and the park had saved the best till last. I climbed a small slope to get to the base of the tree and held the camera up high to reach this piece of bark. It was my last Angophora photo for the day and the season.
