Now I could tell you I waded through leech (or worse) infested water and risk life and limb to bring you this image. Some “wild life” photographer like to tell such tales. I'm more of a “tame life” photographer at the moment. I had just received some camera accessories in the mail and I was looking for a subject. I found this fellow in a pandanas palm a few paces from my back steps. The daylight was failing and a tripod was not an option in amongst the fronds. Ultimately a simple flash exposure worked well. I saw the frog again next day and although I check the pandanas regularly but I haven't seen the frog since. I also can tell you those thorns are sharp.
The correct orientation for this image is vertical but it looks ok mounted horizontally too. These open edition prints are optionally signed below the image. If you want them signed in a horizontal format or left unsigned let us know when ordering.
